Staying In

I am delighted to be working with Mark Croasdale on his show “Staying In”. Following a very successful development process and an appearance at Mothers Bloomers at the Royal Exchange Studio Theatre Manchester. We are building the next phase of this project with the aim of premiering in March 2019. We are currently interested developing this work in partnership with venues, festivals and others interested in exploring gender identity. If you are a venue and would like to consider this performance for your venue please get in touch.

‘Staying In’ is a theatrical ‘night in’ with herbal tea, Murder She Wrote and a frank look at sexual identity. Inspired by the research of Stonewall, this mix of film noir, comedy and bizarre characters explores incidents of hate crime, stereotypes and ‘coming out’.
An accompanying community workshop explores Internalised Homophobia and LGBTQ+ Hate Crime whilst empowering and supporting the health & wellbeing of LBGTQ+ individuals through creative activities.
